Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Beyond Normal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Beyond Normal. Your continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of these terms and any future modifications.
License to Use
Beyond Normal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.
You May:
- Install and use the App on devices you own or control
- Export your workout data for personal backup and analysis
- Share workout summaries and achievements via the App's sharing features
You May Not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or code
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the App to others
Purchases & Subscriptions
Beyond Normal offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features.
Purchase Options
- Monthly Subscription: Recurring monthly billing with a free trial period
- Lifetime Access: One-time payment for permanent access to all features
Billing & Payment
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
- Prices are shown in your local currency and may include applicable taxes
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Free Trials
Monthly subscriptions include a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. If you don't cancel, you will be charged the subscription price at the end of the trial.
Cancellation & Refunds
- You can cancel subscriptions anytime through your Apple ID settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial subscription periods or unused portions
- Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
- Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies
Managing Subscriptions
To manage or cancel your subscription:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions
- Select Beyond Normal
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or change subscription options)
User Conduct
You agree to use Beyond Normal responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You will not:
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Beyond Normal is a fitness tracking tool, not medical advice.
- Always consult a physician before starting any exercise program
- The App provides general fitness information and is not personalized medical advice
- We are not responsible for injuries or health issues resulting from App use
- If you experience pain, discomfort, or any adverse symptoms, stop immediately and consult a doctor
- Strength training carries inherent risks; proper form and supervision are essential
No Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Freedom from bugs, viruses, or other harmful components
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond Normal and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury, property damage, or health issues arising from App use
- Loss of data, workouts, or personal records
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from unauthorized access, data breaches, or device failures
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, trademarks, logos, and code in Beyond Normal are owned by or licensed to Beyond Normal and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The "Beyond Normal" name, logo, and visual design are trademarks. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We recommend reading it to understand how we handle your data.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, for violation of these terms or for any other reason.
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App immediately ends
- You must delete the App from all your devices
- Active subscriptions may be canceled (subject to Apple's refund policies)
- All locally stored data will be deleted when you remove the App
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
Material changes will be communicated through:
- In-app notifications
- Updates to this page
- App Store release notes
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you don't agree with changes, stop using the App.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Beyond Normal regarding your use of the App.
